This course is suitable for qualified adult, mental health, children’s and learning disability nurses and midwives. It is also suitable for practitioners who have a foundation degree to top up to a BSc (Hons).

You can choose to study the general award or follow a more focused pathway in:

  • BSc (Hons) Enhancing Professional Health Care Practice (Clinical)
  • BSc (Hons) Enhancing Professional Health Care Practice (Clinical Leadership)
  • BSc (Hons) Enhancing Professional Health Care Practice (Clinical Education)
  • BSc (Hons) Enhancing Professional Health Care Practice (Nurse Practitioner)

Course details

Intake September and February onwards.

There are two points of entry:

Level 5

You will have a minimum of 120 credits at Level 4 obtained through previous professional study.

If you enter at Level 5 you will complete six 20 credit modules, one compulsory and five optional (Or have the opportunity to APEL). On completion of the modular route you will be eligible to step off with a Diploma in Health Care or be able to  progress onto Level 6 study to top up to a BSc (Hons) Enhancing Professional Health Care Practice.
