You will be based at MediaCityUK where you will have access to the full range of spaces within which to create and present your work. These include the Digital Performance Lab, The Living Lab and a programmable Interactive Wall.
The facilities at MCUK include two Television Recording Studios, Animation suites, Computer Labs, Video Editing and Post-Production Suites, Experimental Studios and Green Screen Recording facilities. The environment is one which encourages interdisciplinary working methods and you will be part of a large, vibrant community of students and researchers.
The purpose built digital performance lab is a combination of black box studio, cinema, installation space, which has excellent connectivity allowing for multi-site productions. Our neighbours are the BBC, ITV, the Lowry Arts Centre and a myriad of production companies. We have a very close working relationship with the Lowry Arts Centre and you will have access to the Lowry's professional performance spaces and digital performance programme of events including masterclasses with visiting artists.
