Course Structure
The modular structure reflects the practice as research focus for the course which is supported by the critical and historical issues of liveness; the impact of new technologies on human performance, performativity, digital revolution and the need for new paradigms of performance. You will learn to utilise both traditional and unconventional research methodologies, becoming increasingly independent as the course progresses. You will learn and develop through both group and individual learning paths and will engage with a wide range of experts from the fields of performance, media and science.
Semester 1

Practice as Research level 1
Using your own proposal as a starting point you will work with a personal tutor to develop a study plan.

Professional Engagement Project
Final Presentation
This last semester will be led by the final development stage of your research project. It will conclude with a major presentation of your work. As part of this development you will design and implement a professional development business plan to define the potential market place for you and your work.
