Digital Imaging Facilities
At Salford you'll have some of the best imaging facilities in the country. We’re one of very few universities in the UK which has a 16-slice CT scanner. You'll also use our X-ray room which contains equipment of a similar standard and function to that used in the clinical area. This allows you to gain skills in radiographic technique before commencing clinical blocks. We recently invested £550,000 to purchase and install an Agfa Computed Radiography facility in the imaging suite.
