The course provides a framework that promotes your development as a learner, a developing practitioner and an employee. You will be develop and demonstrate knowledge and understanding, skills, qualities and other attributes which support the development of clinical competence in the area of diagnostic radiography, commensurate with a practitioner who is fit for purpose and continuing professional development.
Our integrated three-year course includes a range of topics such as anatomy and physiology, radiographic science, research skills, radiographic technique, IT, and professionalism
Course Structure
The course runs across six semesters with between two and four modules per semester. In the final year you will have the opportunity to choose your own area of study within two of these modules enabling you to express your thoughts and ideas within your developing area of interest.

Year 1
Concepts in Health
You will learn effective communication skills, ethical issues, professionalism and codes of conduct and relate these to health care practice.

Acquire the relevant underpinning knowledge and skills to undertake supervised safe practise in basic radiographic examinations of the appendicular skeleton and respiratory systems.

Cardiovascular Imaging
Develop the relevant knowledge to undertake supervised safe practice in radiographic examinations and interventions of the cardiovascular and renal system, and to compare and contrast published literature in this area.
