An induction day at the University will familiarise you with Blackboard, the use of discussion boards, sending e-mails and the module requirements
Learning in the workplace will be facilitated by a qualified mentor who will be an experienced cardiac nurse. The structure of this clinical education will be based upon the statements identified in the BANCC competency framework for acute care.
All theoretical material will be presented via the virtual learning environment. This web based environment will also promote communications between the learners and the module leader via discussion boards on key topics and by the use of e-mails. There will also be a range of interactive online packages, synchronous electronic lectures, CDs and videos to support student learning
