This is a unique opportunity to learn from three of the UK’s leading theatres: the Royal Exchange Theatre Manchester, the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse and the Octagon Theatre Bolton. You will spend 50% of your time studying at these theatres, receiving a unique insight into how theatres run and how a professional playwright works in the industry. You will receive tuition and advice from a professional playwright (to be appointed on a yearly basis by the theatres) and will leave the course equipped to work as a professional playwright and having had the opportunity to write several pieces of work during your time on the course.
