Staff Profile
Parveen Marrington-Mir is the course leader for the Graduate Certificate course. She is a skilled academic with 23 years of teaching experience in both Further and Higher Education. She is also a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy accredited counsellor, with 15 years experience of working in private practice as a counselling practitioner and supervisor.
Parveen’s research interest is in the area of inequality for Black and Minority Ethnic groups. She has delivered papers nationally and internationally and published in an international journal for social development on the subject.
