Staff Profile

Elaine Beaumont is a part-time lecturer and a BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Psychotherapist who has her own practice as well as working for the Greater Manchester Fire Service and the Priory.  Her research interests include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Compassionate Based Therapy.

Vee Howard-Jones is a full-time lecturer and a Psychotherapist with 18 years experience of working with clients in NHS and Multi-national settings.  Her research interests are patient’s experience of anxiety provoking procedures, existential philosophy and the use of bibliotherapies.

Both Elaine and Vee are currently conducting research on how counsellors and psychotherapist integrate CBT skills into their practice.
