- Students must have successfully completed Introduction to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (Master's Level 7, 30 Credits) single module.
- An upper second class honours degree in psychology or other health/social care related discipline, e.g. counselling, health sciences, nursing

- An honours degree (in any discipline) (2.2 or above) and a diploma in Counselling or its UKCP or BPS equivalent
- You will be required to use CBT skills within your work/voluntary placement setting and will need to access a minimum of one 20 hours supervised practice. Practice should be supervised by a qualified counselling/psychotherapy supervisor who is a member of BACP/BABCP/UKCP, or an accredited CBT therapist who is, or is working towards, BABCP supervision accreditation.
- If your first language is not English you must provide evidence of proficiency. This can be proven with a score of at least 7 on the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or a score of Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) at 575 (323 computer based) or above with a Test of Written English (TWE) score of 4.0 or above.
- Appropriately experienced applicants will be considered in line with the University’s APL procedure.
