Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)
In exceptional cases work experience may be accepted as a substitute for formal qualifications. Appropriately experienced applicants will be considered in line with the University's Accreditation of Prior Learning (or experiential learning) procedure (APL/APEL).
English Language Requirements
Normally IELTS 6.0 with no individual element below 5.5, or equivalent recognised Secure English Language Test, (SELT).
If the English language qualification is slightly below this level candidates may be able to take one of the many English courses available in the University. Please contact admissions for further information.
Applicant profile
With an interest in sport, students are accepted from a wide range of backgrounds.
You will most likely have an involvement in some form of competitive or recreational sport. You will also need to demonstrate good levels of academic knowledge, however, this does not have to be specific to the subject of sport.
People from a wide range of knowledge, including business, technology, leisure, hospitality, media, and health can bring to the course other important skills and knowledge that contribute to the course as a whole.
We are looking for people who are really interested in sport, who want to participate at organising or managing sport in their future career.
