Applications will typically be accepted from candidates who have:
- a minimum second class undergraduate honours degree in architecture
- a minimum second class undergraduate honours degree in engineering, project management or other built environment discipline, or
- a recognised professional qualification in a cognate discipline.
English Language Requirements
International applicants must provide evidence of proficiency in English this normally takes the form of IELTS 6.0 band score with no element below 5.5, or a TOEFL score of 650 or above.
There is also a possibility to take a language test in the Salford School of Languages.

Applicant profile
This course will appeal to architects, architectural technicians, engineers, designers and design/project managers working in the built environment. You will have a strong interest in efficient multidisciplinary collaboration through design and construction processes. You will have a desire to advance your current knowledge base and to specialise in integrated design and advanced BIM technologies.
A strong academic and/or professional background is required, and you should be prepared to take the initiative once guidance has been given due to the specialised nature of the material that will be covered.
