Applicant profile
Creative Technology has always attracted graduates from a diversity of backgrounds including visual arts, design, computing, engineering, marketing, music, multimedia, sociology, media studies and many more. The open boundaries of the course draw from an ever-increasing amount of creative technology sectors and disciplines. You are challenged to work on technically complex and artistically demanding projects, which are aimed at developing new approaches to non-standard problems. A high degree of co-operation among students and between course members and external specialists is required.
“I chose this course because I want to explore ways that technology can be used to enhance education and learning. I also like that it has links to the content and resources from other courses and the potential to work with people on the Creative Education course. Being given unbounded freedom in choice of project proposals and being exposed to a range of creative minds and practices makes it really easy to establish original ideas. I want to contribute to the development of educational games and technology.”
