Normally a minimum 2:2 honours degree or equivalent or successful completion of the Graduate Certificate International Management.
A wide range of professional qualifications are also accepted either in partial or complete fulfilment of entry requirements.
Where a student has gained a recognised Honours degree but does not meet the normal entry qualification requirement, they may still be considered for entry if they can demonstrate relevant work experience of a minimum 2 years duration post study and acceptable level of responsibility.
In the case of non-graduates please look at APEL.
Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)
We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.
The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course.
Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
English Language Requirements
Normally IELTS 6.5 with no individual element below 5.5, or equivalent recognised Secure English Language Test, (SELT).
If the English language qualification is slightly below this level candidates may be able to take one of the many English courses available in the University. Please search for English in Course Finder.
Suitable For
This course is designed for graduates who have academic background in the following subjects: financial and management accounting, economics, finance, management or business studies. Those with sufficient suitable work experience will also be considered.

Graduates generally with a background in accounting, finance or business economics who envisage working in either the corporate sector or financial industries.
