As Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Enterprise my key responsibilities are industrial partnership at regional, national and international level. I am passionate about the role and the contribution the university can make in partnership with industry and the private sector to develop new processes and technologies.

My research interests are in the area of new technologies to increase energy efficiency with applications within the built environment.  My second area of interest is in the area of nano materials including the fabrication of nanowires and the determination of their physical and material properties.
