Professor Brian Longhurst

Professor Brian Longhurst (pictured left) is Pro Vice Chancellor (Media & Digital Futures and International) and Executive Dean of the College of Arts & Social Sciences at the University of Salford.

In his role as Pro-Vice Chancellor (Media & Digital Futures and International), Brian is responsible for leading the learning and teaching strategy which includes the design of course portfolios, developing learning and teaching technologies and internationalising the curriculum.

In addition, as Executive Dean of the College of Arts & Social Sciences, he oversees the operation of two of the University’s nine academic Schools - the School of Arts & Media and  the School of Humanities, Languages & Social Sciences
