Recruitment fairs
Attend a recruitment fair to promote your opportunities and organisation to current students, final year students or graduates. We run fairs throughout the year which are a great way for employers to meet students and graduates face to face.
Why book a place?
Here are a few reasons why you should book a place at a fair:
- An opportunity to meet potential recruits - you can emphasise to them the benefits of working for your business.
- Project work - you can promote your placement opportunities to students who can work for you for a limited time period and carry out specific pieces of project work.
- New ideas, understanding or technology - you can promote your employment opportunities to students who can help your current staff implement new business ideas, understand new business practices and develop / implement new technologies.
- Placement to Graduate recruitment - If you are impressed with the work and performance of a student who has completed a placement with you, you can then offer the student a graduate level opportunity which they can start after they graduate. Perhaps one of your representatives could be a member of your staff who started working with your business as a student on placement.
About the fairs
Each booking is allocated the following:
- A space of up to 3 metres (in width) for your display stand / panels. We are unable to provide a panel on the day.
- Basic information about your company and your vacancies will be displayed in a handout (which is given to all students attending the event) and will be displayed on the fair web pages for students.
- Use of a table and two chairs.
- University car parking is available. Please note: we cannot reserve you a space. Where possible you are encouraged to car share or get a taxi to the venue. Parking at the University in term time is very limited.

Sponsorship
You can sponsor this event to raise the profile of your organisation with University of Salford staff and students and with other organisations.
Standard* Sponsorship Package - £500 + VAT includes:
- Premier listing with company logo on event website with vacancy information;
- Company logo displayed prominently on the cover of the fair guide and marketing material (posters, emails, screensavers);
- Prominent stand position in the exhibition hall;
- Free room hire for 1 year to conduct interviews and/or deliver presentations
- Targeted emails to students groups e.g. specific courses, degree disciplines
A Premium** Sponsorship Package is available which includes assisted recruitment.
