All employers will now have access to the new & upgraded vacancy promotion system ‘Employer Advantage’ that offers control and flexibility when submitting vacancy opportunities.
Benefits of using the new system are
- Allows employers to view their advert when it is live;
- Enables employers the opportunity to manage and update their live vacancy adverts and organisation contact details;
- Approval of all vacancies will be carried out quickly and efficiently by the employer liaison team;
- Each organisation will have a profile which can upgraded if required
- Employers can create advertisements to target subject areas, specific student groups and to graduate cohorts.
The Employer Advantage vacancy promotion service reaches over 20,000 current University of Salford students and several thousand graduates.
Opportunities that can be promoted online include:
- Part-time job vacancies (term-time)
- Vacation work (Christmas / Easter / June to September summer period)
- Industrial Placements or Summer Placements / Internships
- Graduate vacancies, aimed at either final year students or graduates.

*If you are a charity or a not-for-profit organisation (including social enterprises and public sector organisations) or a community group and would like to advertise a volunteering opportunity, please also complete our Volunteering Opportunity Registration Form.
