Cutting-edge research that delivers real business solutions
Operations and Global Logistics Management
Operations and Global Logistics Management research is a new and exciting area of focus in which the School is both investing and developing existing expertise.
Particular themes include: models of quality management, agile operations, lean organizations, and business excellence; global supply chain management; risk and crisis management; integrated service solutions for complex technical systems; automation and cognition in manufacturing and factories of the future.
Significant industry and academic partnerships (with roboticists, inventory forecasters, third party maintainers and service solution providers) are being exploited in order to develop large scale projects that can impact upon European and global operations.
