Expertise: rigour and reputation

At the Centre for Digital Business we aim to produce academically rigorous research that builds our reputation as advisors to local businesses. The members have a broad range of expertise that can be grouped into the following three areas:

Strategic use of digital technologies

Search and social media marketing, social media reputation building, digital media campaigns, Business and IT strategies, e-learning, disruptive technologies, ecommerce, legislation.

Application of digital technologies

Advisors to the North West on the rapidly changing digital landscape

 

Back office systems, ERPs, CRMs, Web 2.0, cloud computing, social media strategies, mobile apps, on-line shopping, information securities.

Analysis of digital technologies

Big data, privacy, identities, young people and technologies, Facebook ethics, YouTube, mobile use, on-line trust.
