Fees

All bookings received after 31 March 2013 will be subject to VAT at 20%.

Additional Fees

Please note that the above fees do not include IoD Membership, Assessment (Examination) fees - see under - or Chartered Director fees. All these fees are payable to the IoD, not Salford University. In addition, the course fees do not include the optional Exam Preparation Session.

IoD Membership

If you are not already a member of the IoD but wish to join please contact Alison Kennedy, IoD Programme Director on 07748147864.

If you are also making a booking , please check the box on the booking form relating to fees as if you were a member.

Individual Courses

You may choose to attend individual Certificate courses to learn about specific aspects of company direction. The Diploma course may only be attended by those who have attended the Certificate courses or who already hold the Diploma in Company Direction.

Exam Fee

This is paid direct to the " Institute of Directors" after starting the Programme and when registering for the examination. Full details will be given to delegates during the Programme.

Programme Requirements

In order to be eligible to undertake the assessment for a Certificate or Diploma the following requirements must be filled:

• Delegates must attend the mandatory courses within a period of 2 years
• Absence of more than two hours from any course day will mean that this part of the programme will have to be retaken, incurring an extra day rate in full.

Tuition fees are not liable to VAT. Cheques in respect of programme fees to be made payable to "University of Salford".

Terms & Conditions

Cancellations of Individual Course

• Over 25 working days notice – refund at 80% of the course fee.
• Less than 25 working days notice – no refund.

Cancellations of Programme

• Over 25 working days notice of Programme start – refund at 80% of the Programme fee charged.
• Over 25 working days notice of a course - courses already taken will be charged at individual course rate. Refund at 80% of remaining balance.
• Less than 25 working days notice of a course – course cost is forfeited at individual rate. Courses already taken will be charged at individual rate. Refund at 80% of remaining balance.

Transfers

Transfers need to be attended within 2 years of the original course date

• Over 15 working days before the course start date: Free transfer to a Salford or Isle of Man course. This is non-refundable.
• 5-15 working days before the course start date: transfer to an alternative date would incur a 45% charge of the individual course fee.
• Less than 5 working days before the course start date: Transfer would incur a 90% charge of the individual course fee.
