Biography

Weiyue Wang is a lecturer in strategy and marketing at Salford Business School, University of Salford, UK. Dr Wang holds a PhD in Marketing from Bradford University School of Management. His research interests are focused on consumer behaviour and psychology, corporate brand management, and organisation-employee relationships. His works have been published in Journal of General Management, Asia Pacific Business Review, Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies, among others.

Research Interests

Dr. Wang's research interests are mainly focused on consumer psychology and behaviour (e.g. consumer ethnocentrism, country-specific animosity, materialism, normative influence, public or private self-consciousness, etc.), organisational studies (e.g. organisational identification, customer orientation, leadership, employees' personality, psychological empowerment, etc.), corporate brand management in higher education
