Richard works as the Technical Innovation Officer. His role enhances the technical enterprise activities of the school in terms of both the development and delivery of services to external clients and the enhancement of students’ technical and digital skills. He supports student employability through industry projects, effective school and student online presence and is actively involved in the work of Centre for Digital Business.

He has worked extensively in operations and information systems project management, as well freelance consultancy for digital projects.


Richard’s teaching is limited but he is involved in:

  • Business Innovation Project supervision
  • Student mentoring in digital technologies, innovation and marketing studies

Guest teaching in digital technologies, innovation and marketing

Research Interests

Richard is interested in mixed-methods social network analysis (SNA), digital influencer marketing strategies and online communities as a data source for market research. He is a member of The Centre For Digital Business: He is currently studying for his Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practise.
