Martin Barber

Senior Lecturer, UGT Programme Director: International Operations and Information Management

Biography

Martin initially worked as an engineer within the electronics industry and progressed to Engineering Manager where he
worked for several multinational companies over 13 years. He
then lectured Manufacturing Engineering for four year in the
School of Engineering before moving across to the Business
School.
He is currently a Senior Lecturer within Salford Business School
and has taught across Business Studies for a number of years.
He has been research active within Engineering and Operations
Management areas. He has gained consultancy experience
working for both the Engineering and Business schools. He has
now progressed onto managing a number of the undergraduate
degree Business programmes as a UGT Programme Director.
