I joined the University of Salford in 2003 after working for 14 years in the University of Central Lancashire. Overall I have spent 25 years teaching project and risk management in higher education.
I teach on a variety of business and management courses with a focus on risk and project management.
My research interests are focused on risk and project management and the management of social and community enterprises.
I am currently supervising doctoral students on the following topics:
talent management in the Thai hotel industry, and the area of social enterprise.
I would be interested in supervising future doctoral students in:
the project management of risk and where risk intersects with the business of management, especially in regard to food safety risk.
