Biography

I joined Salford Business School as Lecturer in People Management in May 2014. Prior to that I was at Leeds University Business School where I completed an ESRC funded PhD followed by a two year Research Fellowship. Before entering academia my career spanned the public and private sectors – the NHS (where I started my career as a nurse) followed by a number of years within the healthcare and nutrition industries in sales, training and management roles.

My research to date has focused on changes to ways of working and training in the medical profession, including clinical leadership and the movement of doctors into management role.
