Biography

I started my career as a trainee chartered accountant for one of the big firms. Four years later, one year after qualifying with ICAEW as a chartered accountant, I joined the Audit Commission and became a Senior Associate. Some years later, after being involved in training staff as part of my role, I decided to make the move to education.

Member of Faculty: Faculty of Business, Law & the Built Environment - From September 2002 to September 2010.

Member of School: School of Accounting, Economics & Management Science - From September 2002 to present.

Full Member of Research Institute: - Management & Management Sciences Research Institute (MaMS) - From December 2003 to March 2004.

Associate Member of Research Institute: Management & Management Sciences Research Institute (MaMS) - From April 2004 to September 2009.

Associate Member of Research Centre: Higher Education Research Centre (HERC) - From September 2002 to September 2009.
