Biography
I am currently a lecturer in Human Resource Management at Salford Business School. Before taking up a full time position within the University Of Salford I worked as a Senior Manager within the retail sector for over ten years. It is this work background that has led to my focus in teaching and research activities within the field of HRM policy and practice with particular relevance in developing and transitional countries. I am currently a member of the International Strategy and People Management discipline group within Salford Business School. This cluster manages a number of key postgraduate programmes within the School including the MSc Human Resource Management and Development.
I am also currently in the process of completing a Doctorate qualification, the area of research focusing on the transferability of westernized HRM policy to developing countries.
