Biography

Grazyna Rembielak-Vitchev is a Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Undergraduate Teaching courses in International Marketing and Services Management Unit in Salford Business School, with a Doctorate from Warsaw Agricultural University (2004), (now Warsaw University of Life Sciences).

She has fifteen years experience in international collaboration and European Programs in education, and practical marketing expertise, cooperating with industry. Her research interests include: consumer behaviour, services marketing in public and non-public institutions, in particular marketing mix, and consumer satisfaction in case of higher education. Her research has been presented at a number of international conferences and been published in journals. She has also carried out review work for a number of international journals.

The areas of research activities: Marketing (Services Marketing – in particular in the Higher Education service, quality systems in Higher Education, Consumer Behaviour, in particular: consumer motivations and satisfaction; Marketing in dairy industry; Experiential Marketing, Experience Economy, Service Dominant Logic), Management, Internationalisation and Globalisation, and Enterprise.

Publications

Dr Grazyna Rembielak-Vitchev is an author of one book, two refereed journal papers, seventeen refereed conference papers, twelve other refereed papers, one working paper – a detailed list of publications is available on request.

She presented a number of conference papers at international conferences in Poland, Italy, Czech, and the UK in the field of Marketing, Agriculture, the European Union Integration, Sustainable Development, and Enterprise, and participated in a number of seminars and presentations.

She has been very active in terms of participating in research and exchange programs, in particular in Poland, Italy, and recently established one with Slovak Republic.

She has been taking part in internal and external (national and international) research bids.

She is heavily involved in enterprise, collaborating with industry for many years, acting as an expert and advisor in the field of Marketing.

She is Internationally and Nationally known in the area of Relationship Marketing in the Not-for Profit Sector.

6.12.2011 – present    Partner in the International Project - VEGA No 1/0067/11 Dynamics and content of decisional processes in motivating human potential – with the University of Zilina, Slovak Republic, and the Czestochowa University of Technology in Czestochowa, Poland

08.01.2008                    won a 12 month Project - Centre for Enterprise and Innovation Research(CEIR) to the Enterprise Competition of the Faculty of Business, Law and the Built Environment- colleagues participating in the Project: Prof. C. Kalantaridis, Dr G. Rembielak-Vitchev - leading, and other participants: V. Caruana, E. Vasilieva -(2008) - won £10.000 for the School

16.03.2007                     won HEIF 3 funding (core HEFCE funding for Academic Enterprise activity) the European Project, worth £1.000 I was on a placement from 16/04/2007 – 30/06/2007 in a SME -  EETTEC Ltd, located in Bolton.
