Biography

Dr Edward Doran originally qualified as a chartered engineer working twenty years in the motor industry holding a number of managerial roles in production, service support and quality.  He is currently working for the University of Salford which he joined in 1986, and is a senior member of the Business School.  Dr Doran has undertaken research in the areas of quality management, robotics, team dynamics, business and management development and entrepreneurial studies presenting a number of International papers at prestigious conferences in Europe and the USA.  Management consultancy has been undertaken across a wide field of business sectors including manufacturing, health authority, police authority and service industries.
