Biography

David is the Director of Admissions in Salford Business School and manages all issues relating to conversion and admissions at both postgraduate and undergraduate levels.

As Director of Admissions which covers international and domestic recruitment activities David carry’s out analysis & evaluation of present and future market trends and/or needs. Information needed to develop present and future courses and to ensure the teaching curriculum remains relevant and to provide meaningful information on potential enterprise activity for Salford Business School.

With a background in Industry in the white goods sector and paper and board sector in which he spent some 25 years prior to joining the University.

Teaching

Teaching specialism’s are in the areas of Services Management with a particular specialism within that in the management and development of strategic industrial and commercial relationship.

Research Interests

With an interest in research that considers the impact of strategic relationship selection for an organisations buy supply network..

Previously presented papers on marketing at several national and international venues and was awarded on one occasion at the Marketing Education Group (MEG) conference at Lancaster University, a Best Paper at conference award in recognition of innovation.
