Biography
I have extensive academic experience, having previously worked at the Universities of Leicester, Coventry and Bedfordshire. At Bedfordshire, I was Professor of Accounting and Finance and Head of the Department of Accounting & Finance, the fastest growing department in the Business School. During my academic career, I have been working and establishing international partnerships throughout the world. Before my academic career, I was working in accounting practices in both Hong Kong and London at a senior level, dealing with complicated cases and working with CEO, CFO, Directors of companies of all sizes.
Teaching
I specialise on executive level teaching and PhD supervision.
Research Interests
My research interests are mainly Corporate Finance, Market-based Accounting Research & Investment. Currently, I am working on a number of projects on dividend signalling, interest rates and house prices, financial and commodity asset returns, and value relevance of accounting choice.
I have published a book, numerous papers in international academic journals and professional journals/magazines. Many of my publications are widely cited globally.
