Third Year law student Adam Gould has been awarded a full Lord Denning scholarship by The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn.

The award totals £15,500 and is designed to cover the cost of the BPTC (Bar Professional Training Course) that Adam will begin in September this year.

Having progressed through from the initial application, Adam won over a panel of judges in an interview that lasted just under ten minutes, beating hundreds of other applicants in the process.

Earlier this year Adam also won first prize at the annual National Speed Mooting Competition, which was held at the University of Salford.

Adam said: “It is a great privilege and honour to have received a Lord Denning Scholarship. This will not only help me financially, but is also an incredible accolade."
