Our awards and accreditations

Industry accredited courses

Across the range of programmes in Salford Business School, we hold accreditations from 15 different professional bodies.  These guarantee that the programmes we deliver are of a high quality and are industry-focussed so you know that you are gaining the skills that employers want.

We are particularly proud to be accredited by AMBA for our MBA programmes, EPAS for our postgraduate Finance and Management suites of programmes and CEEMAN for our School organisation.  Such international accreditations reflect the currency of our programmes and the rigorous quality assurance processes we apply to teaching, learning and development.

Enterprise

At School-level, we are recognised for our commitment to supporting SMEs and social businesses. The awards of Small Business Charter and the Social Enterprise Gold Mark further reflect our commitment to such business organisations.

We excel in enterprise and innovation. The Business School was awarded the Small Business Charter Award in recognition of the role the School has played in helping to kick-start British enterprise. By receiving the award, Salford Business School has demonstrated exceptional dedication to support and improve links with the small business community in the local area.

Gold Mark

The University of Salford was the first university in the UK to receive the Social Enterprise Gold Mark, after demonstrating excellence in best practice across areas such as governance, ethical business, financial transparency, and social and environmental impact.
