Learn how to use Google+ for business and career development

Google+ is a relatively new platform but is already claimed to be the second largest social network in the world. In this Google+ section you will learn about the impact Google+ can have on workplace communications and how it can be used to enhance your business presence online. There are a number of benefits of social networking sites such as Google+ for business use. This tutorial aims to outline some of the fundamental features of Google+.

Activity 1 – Create a Google+ account by visiting https://plus.google.com/  and signing in with your details.

Activity 2 - Do you have a web page or a blog that you could link to your Google Plus profile? If so link these, if not, consider linking your YouTube account to your Google+.

Activity 3 - Search for “Salford Business School” on Google. Can you see the way that Google+ profile information is being displayed on the Search Engine Results Page? If you like this course you can +1 the company page and write a review once you have finished the course.
