SURFACE postgraduate course featured in Manchester e-bulletin

Accessibility and Inclusive Design, the SURFACE-run postgraduate course on the inclusive design of the built environment, has been featured in a Manchester City Council e-bulletin.

"Valuing Older People" is issued monthly to over 1,300 stakeholders within the Manchester area, showcasing news, events and courses related to positive ageing. Headlined "Creating great places in which to grow old", the article highlights the relevance of the SURFACE course to understanding the barriers faced by older people as they negotiate outdoor environments, day-to-day. The next start date for the Accessibility and Inclusive Design course, which offers three levels of postgraduate award, is January 2013.
