SURFACE guest edits international Design for All publication

SURFACE has guest edited the June 2012 edition of Design for All, the monthly publication of the Design for All Institute of India.

Opening with an editorial entitled “We want to be outdoors, out there, out now!”, the publication is dedicated to research into the provision and quality of accessible urban outdoor space and its impact on health and wellbeing. Essays were contributed by seven international researchers, including William Sullivan (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), Rob Methorst (Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment) and Marketta Kyttä (Aalto University, Finland).

In a section given over to the internal environment, the publication also features an article by SURFACE PhD candidate, Rachel Russell.
