Marcus Ormerod participates in BSI stakeholder forum

SURFACE Director, Professor Marcus Ormerod, has participated in a stakeholder forum on Assisted Living.

Hosted and facilitated by the British Standards Institute, the event was chaired by Graham Worsley of the Technology Strategy Board’s Special Interest Group, the Assisted Living Innovation Platform. Key items on the agenda included exploring standards priorities for enabling Assisted Living (AL) within UK Government policy and debating the need for new standards or solutions around innovative AL products and services.

The event comes in the same month that I’DGO features in the annual Department of Health report to Parliament on current UK research and development projects in Assistive Technology.
