Sustainable Urban and Regional Futures
The Centre was established in 1999 to undertake inter-disciplinary research.
The Centre improves understanding of how fundamental economic, social, environmental and technological changes interact to affect urban and regional futures. It promotes interdisciplinary analysis of the sustainability of these changes and leads debate about how change can be shaped to promote the sustainability of cities and regions, in the North West and beyond.
It is part of the University of Salford’s 6* School of the Built Environment (SOBE).
