First ANDROID Conference held in Estonia

The first annual ANDROID network conference has taken place in Tallinn, Estonia.

ANDROID – the Academic Network for Disaster Resilience to Optimise Educational Development – is a Salford-led project, which aims to help boost disaster preparedness in European cities.

The conference included a key note address by the Director of United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR), a varied programme of workshops, round tables, special interest group meetings and plenary addresses.
