9th Annual International Conference of the International Institute for Infrastructure Renewal and Reconstruction

9th Annual International Conference of the International Institute for Infrastructure Renewal and Reconstruction be held at the Queensland University of Technology,  Brisbane, Australia from 8th – 11th July 2013.

The overall title for this year’s conference is ‘Risk–informed Disaster Management: Planning for Response, Recovery’.

The International Institute for Infrastructure Renewal and Reconstruction conferences attract and enjoy rich international participation with early indications through active interest proving this continues to be the case for this, the 9th year of the Conference.

A presentation will be made on: Challenges in Managing Housing Needs in Post Conflict Housing Reconstruction.

Centre for Disaster Resilience at the University of Salford is a key partner of the International Institute for Infrastructure Renewal and Reconstruction.

The International Institute for Infrastructure Renewal and Reconstruction (IIIRR) is a multi-university international consortium which provides overall leadership in research, education, planning, design and implementation for mitigation of the impact of natural disasters and infrastructure renewal and reconstruction projects in tsunami affected or underdeveloped regions.
