Chris is a trained performance coach (Industrial Society) and Value Manager (Leeds University) as well as a Chartered Architect; he worked in private practice until 1995. He is a founder member of Be (INCR) Innovation Network of Construction Research, and is an occasional contributor to the cross-sectorial Synchrony knowledge management network and the International Cultural Learning Association (Interclass). Currently he is working with Constructing Excellence and nCRISP executives to develop a long term vision and strategy for UK construction. Within Wates, he works within the Group Strategic Process team that is accountable for developing business strategy, cross project & market stream business improvement and integration of process across specialist disciplines. He is currently researching the integration of various business improvement processes that have originated outside the construction and development industry. He is involved in two Pii projects 'prOSPa' and 'Integrated Team Collaboration using Object Modelling.'
