Erica Dyson has over 20 years experience in programme innovation, regeneration and change management in the public, private and third sectors.
Erica left university with a first class honours degree in Semitic Languages. Following a period overseas as a programme director in regeneration and social enterprise, she went on to play a lead role in a number of UK regeneration programmes specialising in strategies and their implementation. Subsequently she became Director of Corporate Planning at Central Manchester Development Corporation, which many consider was a major catalyst for Manchester's unprecedented growth and innovation during the last 10 years.
In the private sector she trouble-shooted a number of major infrastructure transformations arising from acquisitions and mergers for companies such as the Centrica Group, Norweb, Iceland & Dollond & Aitchison.
In 2001 Erica made a life change move by joining the NHS. She is passionate about quality in public services, innovation and accountability and now focuses on the management of change by bringing together all that is good in both public and public sector working practices and values. She is currently Director of Development & Redesign for Trafford Healthcare Trust. Formerly she was Director of Manchester Salford and Trafford LIFT Partnership, a long term public private partnership investing in new health service delivery and infrastructure in the heart of local communities.
In a private capacity she serves as a non executive director for two three star housing associations, is a member of the NHS Gateway Review team for high risk projects and a visiting professor at Salford University's centre for the Human and Built Environment. Erica is married to a writer on health and fitness, is a big fan of contemporary jazz and cycling for softies.
