Postgraduate Taught Courses
We offer full-time, part-time and distance programmes with intensive tutor support, allowing you to combine work and study.
Studying part-time by internet enabled distance learning involves no campus attendance and is available on many programmes at Master’s level, in addition to on campus delivery modes. It allows students to combine their career with study and is also more cost effective as fees are lower.
Students are able to download programme materials as well as interact with tutors and fellow students live over the Internet. Typically study will involve only a few hours a week with classes normally scheduled to run at times which meet the majority of student needs. The mode of study is not shown on your final certificate.
There is no provision for face-to-face interaction when you study by distance learning but if you do want to, you can certainly come in and see us. Registration and induction etc. are all handled online; study support is provided by encouraging peer to peer interaction, by the regular internet lectures and by email/phone with the tutor.
