Visitors were part of the art and become a Lowry figure in his world-famous painting of Piccadilly Gardens.

The actual landscape of Lowry's famous painting still exists in the centre of Manchester. We created a digital projection in Piccadilly Gardens and our technology and creativity meant that we could project movements into a Lowry character on the spot. Visitors waved, and saw their Lowry character wave back at them!

At the University of Salford TV studios at MediaCityUK

Our audiences at MediaCityUK were able to see passers-by as a Lowry figure in real time moving around against a giant backdrop of the original Piccadilly Gardens painting. They really did become part of the picture!
