Welcome to the Salford branch of the Association of University Administrators (AUA), the professional association for administrators, managers and professional services staff in higher education. It exists to help you develop yourself and your career, and to recognise and promote the development of all who work in higher education administration.
Salford has a growing branch comprised of members across various areas of the University and representing a broad range of grades.
We have a team of coordinators who are working to support Salford members (see our Who's Who page), organise local events and connecting with colleagues in the wider national network. The AUA at Salford is fully supported by senior management. The Chief Operating Officer is a Fellow of the AUA and the Registrar is also a member of the AUA.
The Salford AUA Advocate Team was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Professional Services Recognition Awards 2015-16 at the University Day on 8 June 2016.
