RAE 2008

In the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) 2008, CCM research at the University of Salford—including our media sociologists—was ranked 13th out of all UK universities submitting to that panel. (This is based on 'power' ranking: GPA x FTE).

The table below shows the 'research power' rankings for all UK universities for RAE 2008 panel 66, Communication, Cultural and Media Studies (source).  

In REF 2014 Salford media researchers will be submitted to the new CCMLIM panel, D36.
