- Burl Ives (t/x June 2009): '... life, career and music of Burl Ives including his co-operation with the 1950s House Un-American Activities Committee.... Along with Woody Guthrie, Ives was one of a generation of musicians who were rediscovering American folk music, performing it to politicise their audiences as well as entertain them. Ives also won an Oscar for the 1958 film, The Big Country.'
- From Manchester to the Mississippi (t/x November 2008): 'CP Lee recalls the monumental 1964 concert performed in an old railway station in Manchester by some of America's greatest black musicians from Muddy Waters to Sister Rosetta Tharpe. The event was televised and proved hugely inspirational for British musicians'.
