Communication, Cultural and Media Studies Research Centre

People

CCM currently has 20 researchers, both full members and associate members, making it one of the largest Media research communities in the UK higher education system. We also have a number of associate members from across the university, established researchers with common interests in media, theory, culture, music, technology.

Full members

These are our 16 established researchers across media and cultural studies, and media practice.

These consist of those members of our Creative Media and Journalism & Communications staff who are currently enrolled on PhD programmes, often they have come to academia from working in industry. They are developing and early career researchers who are exploring the ideas of the future! And, coming from industry, they have media production, journalism, gaming and digital technology experience which informs their research too.
