Biography
I joined the University on 1st October 2009 as Lecturer in Future Media, having previously worked at the Coordinating Hub of the ESRC National Centre for e-Social Science (NCeSS) at the University of Manchester (2006-9), and the Department of Information Systems at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
(2005-6) after completing my PhD in Sociology at the University of York
investigating hacker culture(s), hacking practices and the socio-technical
dynamics within and across Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) communities.
